You DO learn with the telly!

Almost got touched yesterday watching the first 5 minutes of the sitcom ‘Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps’; let’s say, memories.

Here’s my advise, whenever you arrive to a new country start watching their own TV programs, sitcoms, news… since you not only need to re-learn their language, but their culture as well. Of course, once you’ve started, get your ass off the sofa and mingle; the telly is the primary school for cultural matters, but you do need real life for graduating.

PS Sorry, I never watched Coronation Street, though.
