OR & Me: The Future
Last month I was explaining to you my relationship to operational research in the past. Last month I was informed that my application for ‘Associate of The Operational Research Society (AORS)‘ had been approved. Obviously, I’m preparing my vital& professional strategic plan towards obtaining a Fellow accreditation (FORS); according to The OR Society, ‘to become a Fellow you need a high level of experience. The achievements and engagement in, and contributions to, O.R. can be demonstrated by meeting a number of the criteria’, which are related to:
- Practice
- Education, Training and Development
So, if you find me out there (in the real World), I’ll surely be engaging in activities related to these criteria so in about five years I become a Fellow.
